Brayden's birthday party
Everything went so well today, honestly way better than I originally thought. Friend wise, only Hayden, Christian, Garrett and Maddison were able to come, and I really don’t mind that. I didn’t mail out invitations until monday, and everything was such short notice, so I’m honestly surprised as many people that were there, were able to come. Family wise, it was his cousins...

Unexpected phone calls
I get a call around 4 this afternoon from a number I didn’t recognize, I answered and the voice on the other line almost had me paralyzed. The person on the other line was my son’s father. We haven’t spoken in so long, and the phone call was just such a surprise. I wasn’t sure whether to laugh, cry or scream. I didn’t do any of those, but so many thoughts were flying...
